A broad-shouldered, Bourbon-based soldier to start off our Cocktail of The Month — deelish-hut!
¾ – 1 oz lemon juice
¼ – ¾ oz sugar syrup
2oz Bourbon whiskey
Stir first three ingredients well over ice cubes in a Collins glass, fill with soda, add cherry and lemon slice.
